DPM will recatalog the selected imported tapes to extract information about the data that they contain. After the recatalog operation is completed, this data will be listed under External DPM Tapes in the Recovery task area. You can monitor the progress of this operation on the Jobs tab in the Monitoring task area. In the jobs view, you may see fewer number of tapes selected because DPM will not recatalog the tapes which do not require recataloging. Do you want to proceed with the recatalog operation?
