Exchange Unified Messaging supports the use of Mutual-TLS (MTLS) to authenticate the SIP endpoints (including the IP/VoIP gateways and IP/PBXs) and to encrypt the SIP traffic. It encrypts the SIP traffic by using the TLS mechanism provided by the underlying Windows Server 2003 platform.
