IPAM automatically assigns IPv4 address blocks to public or private address space as reserved by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA). IP address blocks can be added, edited and deleted. IP address blocks with starting and ending IP addresses that lie within another block are automatically arranged as nested sub-blocks. IPAM summarizes utilization statistics and trends at the address block level based on the address ranges assigned to that block. To view IP address blocks, click IPv4 or IPv6, and choose IP Address Blocks next to Current view. You can also choose to view IP address ranges or individual IP addresses. Click Public address space or Private address space to view only public or private IP address blocks, ranges, or addresses.
