Overview The database stores your Microsoft Dynamics AX data. Setup creates a Microsoft SQL Server database to store your data structures and creates a SQL Server user logon for the Application Object Server (AOS) account. Prerequisites You must be logged on with an account that is a member of the Database Creators server role on the SQL Server instance. If you are running Setup on a computer other than the SQL server, the SQL server must allow remote connections, the named pipes protocol must be enabled, and port 1433 must be open. The sort order for the SQL server must be case-insensitive, accent-sensitive, kana-sensitive, and width-insensitive.
