Specify a period of 1 through 14 days to control when this site reinitializes its global data. If replication across this link fails for longer than the specified data retention period, when replication is restored the parent site resends its instance of global data and overwrites the local data. Site data is also reinitialized for links with a child primary site. If this site will be offline, consider setting this value to greater than the offline period to prevent an unnecessary transfer of global data between these sites.
