All servers in the farm running SharePoint products should have the same Automatic Update setting. If any server in the farm gets updated automatically then they all should be at a schedule that is similar to the other farm servers. If there is a mismatch in farm server automatic update settings, a possibility of inconsistent updates can occur which can lead to rendering, request processing, or data loss/corruption issues.
