        - Migrate from an active MOM 2005 Management Group

        - Migrate management packs from the file system

When migrating from a MOM 2005 Management Group a connection to both a MOM 2005 Management Group and a System Center Operations Manager 2007 Management Group is required.

When migrating Management Packs from the file system only, the Management Packs can either be imported directly to a System Center Operations Manager 2007 Management Group or saved to the file system and imported at a later time.
