An NIS domain denotes a group of computers communicating using NIS. NIS subordinate servers running windows are detected automatically and appear in the NIS Servers node. Add the NIS Servers running UNIX using the action menu, in the same node. Only one NIS Server can be a master server. Click promote in the action menu in the NIS Servers node to promote a server. You can propagate the maps from the Maps node.
