Manage users in the Office 365 cloud. You can manage Office 365 users in the Office 365 cloud directory service, Azure Active Directory. You manage these Office 365 users over the Internet using the Office 365 admin center. Users who are managed this way are said to have cloud identities, or cloud IDs. When you use cloud IDs, your organization no longer needs to operate and maintain an on-premises user management system after you move your users to the cloud.
