You use the New Remote Mailbox wizard in the %BRAND_EXCHANGE_MANAGEMENT_CONSOLE% (EMC) on an %BRAND_EXCHANGE_ONLINE_SHORT% 2010 server to create a test mailbox. After the test mailbox is created, you'll want to verify that mail flow is working properly by sending messages and meeting requests between an on-premises mailbox and the %BRAND_OFFICE_365_SHORT% test mailbox.
