App Service plans can be shared across multiple web apps. Each plan has a pricing tier associated with it. Different pricing tiers expose different sets of features and capabilities. Plans in the Free and Shared tiers run on a shared infrastructure with web apps managed by other customers. These apps will have strict quotas for resource utilization. Plans in the Basic and Standard tiers run on resources that are dedicated to your apps and have fewer restrictions.
