The Search Server Configuration page automates several configuration tasks which are required for Search Server to be operational. If you cancel Search Server Configuration, consult the product documentation and the Administrator Tasks list on the Central Administration home page for guidance on manually configuring Search Server. After returning to Central Administration, you can return to the Search Server Configuration page using the item in the Administrator Tasks list named Complete Search Server Configuration. This item is available until a Shared Services Provider has been created. Select OK to return to the Search Server Configuration page (recommended). Select Cancel to quit Search Server Configuration and go to Central Administration.
