UDDI Services provides Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) capabilities for use on an intranet, an extranet, or the Internet. UDDI is a standard method for publishing and locating information about Web services. UDDI Services is composed of two role services, UDDI Services Web Application and UDDI Services Database. You can deploy a UDDI Services site in a stand-alone environment or in a distributed environment. Distributed installations are available only on Windows Server 2008, Datacenter Edition, and Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Edition.
