Select this option to enforce the defined multiple for item quantity. If this option is selected, users can enter a quantity that does not match the specified multiple for item quantity. However, a message is displayed, and the quantity is rounded up to match the required multiple. If this option is cleared, users can enter a quantity that does not match the specified multiple for item quantity. However, a message is displayed and users can round the quantity up to match the default value. For example, you may have negotiated a discounted price with a vendor for an item that requires that you order the item in multiples of 10. If this option is selected, users must order the item in multiples of 10 (such as 10, 20, or 30). When a user requests the item, the system automatically rounds the order quantity up to the closest multiple of 10. If this option is cleared, the user is not forced to order the item in a multiple of 10. A warning is displayed, and the user can leave the quantity as it is or change the quantity to a multiple of 10.
