With User Name Mapping, you can create advanced group maps, which associate dissimilarly named Windows and UNIX groups. Advanced group maps always take precedence over the same group name in a simple map. You configure advanced group maps from the Create Maps dialog box. To start this process, do the following: 1. Open the Microsoft Services for Network File System console. 2. In the console tree, double-click User Name Mapping. 3. Under User Name Mapping in the console tree, right-click Group Maps, and then click Create Maps.
