The failover load balancing method allows you to specify a prioritized list of endpoints. The service at the top of the list is the primary endpoint that is used to serve all traffic. If the primary endpoint fails, the next endpoint in the list is the backup endpoint that will be used to serve all traffic. You can have endpoints in different Windows Azure data centers to promote high availability.
