By default, the UDDI Services database and log files are installed on the system drive. However, you can choose to install these files to different locations to provide better performance, security, or data loss protection based on the needs of your environment. If the SQL Server instance is participating in a failover cluster and is currently the active node of the clustered instance, you must specify a shared drive of the failover cluster as the location for installing the database and log files. Specify different locations for the database and log files, or accept the recommended default locations. For an active node of a clustered SQL Server instance, the locations must be on shared drives.
