You have chosen to associate Web applications to a new shared services provider (SSP). Implications of this action include:
  • Services may take time before they are available for use in the newly associated Web applications. For example, search must crawl the new content before it appears in query results.
  • Any Web application specific data in the old SSP will remain in the old SSP, but will no longer be accessible.
  • All service-level configurations will remain in the old SSP until manually removed using the old SSP administration pages. If needed in the new SSP, they will have to be reset using the new SSP administration pages.
  • You should review the process accounts access list on the SSP Properties page and remove accounts that no longer require access.
