Network Access Protection (NAP) can use DHCP to enforce health policies by inspecting and assessing the health of remote client computers, and by restricting network access when remote client computers are deemed unhealthy. NAP enforces health policies by using DHCP Quarantine. DHCP Quarantine enforces network access requirements any time a computer attempts to lease or renew an IP address configuration on the network.
