When accessing Exchange 2007 over the Internet, Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 requires that the certificate configured for SSL encryption on either Internet Information Services (IIS) or the ISA Server computer is trusted implicitly or explicitly by the client computer. The easiest way to obtain a trusted certificate is to request one from a third-party certification authority (CA). For more information about how to do this by using IIS, complete the steps that are listed in the "Configure SSL for your Client Access server" section on the "Finalize Deployment" page for the "Autodiscover" virtual directory.
