What Is It?
The Classification Matrix Wizard helps you evaluate the performance of mining models against test data from the mining structure, an Excel table, an Excel range, or an external data source. The wizard compares the results of applying a model to the test data to the actual values in the test data, and upon completion, the wizard builds a matrix that displays both the correct and incorrect classifications.
What Does It Do?
The wizard helps you to choose a model to evaluate from the list of models available on the server, or a mining structure. If you choose a mining structure, then all models in the structure will be evaluated. You can also choose the output column of the models to be tested. In addition, you can choose the test data source: this can be test data from the mining structure, or a new data source. If you select new test data, the wizard enables you to define mappings between the test data columns and the model columns.
