SQL Server 6.5 saves password hashes in a format that is no longer supported. On systems that were upgraded to SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000, old hashes were automatically upgraded the first time a user connected to the upgraded instance. Upgrade Advisor has detected a SQL Server login that has not been used since SQL Server 6.5. The old password cannot be directly upgraded to SQL Server 2012.
