You can use this setting to specify a limit for network bandwidth used during certain hours. For example, you may want to limit the use of network bandwidth during peak business hours (such as 8:00am to 5:00pm). Outside of the times you set, BITS uses all available network bandwidth. (This setting does not affect foreground transfers.) The bandwidth limit is specified in kilobits per second (Kbps). If you specify a value less than 2 kilobits, BITS will continue to use approximately 2 kilobits. To prevent all BITS transfers, enter a limit of 0. By default, if you do not configure this setting, BITS uses all available network bandwidth when making background transfers. Note: You should choose a limit based on the speed of the network link, and not on the network adapter of the client computer.
