To prevent a third party from eavesdropping on traffic between devices and the portal, secure the local network and the IIS port on which the Warehouse Mobile Devices Portal is available. We strongly recommend that you use IPsec and a secure transport protocol (https). When using an https port, ensure that TLS 1.2 is the preferred protocol used for communication between the portable devices and IIS server. TLS 1.1 and 1.0 can be enabled for backward compatibility, but SSL 2.0 and 3.0 must always be disabled.
