1. Verify that a supported version of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is installed. For more information about which versions are supported, see the System Requirements at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=165377. 
    
2. Go to the Services control panel (Start > Administrative Tools > Services) and start the SQL Server Reporting Services service.

If Reporting Services 2012 is installed in SharePoint integrated mode, complete the following steps:

a. Go to SharePoint Central Administration and click System Settings > Manage services on server. Start the following services:
      Claims to Windows Token Service 
      SQL Server Reporting Services Service
 
b. Go to the Services control panel (Start > Administrative Tools > Services) and start the following services:
      SharePoint Administration
      SharePoint Timer 
 
Note: When you use the standalone prerequisite utility, prerequisite checks are run on the current computer only. If you are checking prerequisites for the business intelligence components of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations, and Analysis Services and Reporting Services are installed on separate computers, the Reporting Services checks will fail on the Analysis Services computer and vice versa. Make sure that you run the prerequisite utility on each computer to make sure that the appropriate prerequisites pass.
