To add a DHCP server to the list of authorized servers in the directory service. 
 
Syntax: 
 
        add server  [ServerIP] 
 
Parameters: 
 
        ServerDNS      - The DNS domain name of the DHCP server 
                         computer.  
 
        ServerIP       - The IP address of the DHCP server computer.  
                               This parameter is optional. Do not supply this  
                               parameter in pure IPv6 mode.  
 
Notes:         All parameters, as shown in , are 
               required. The ServerDNS element is case-sensitive. Use 
               SHOW SERVERS to determine the exact case of the name 
               that is stored in the Active Directory. 
 
Example:       add server dhcpsrv1.example.microsoft.com 10.2.2.2  
 
               This command adds a server with a DNS name of 
               dhcpsrv1.example.microsoft.com and an IP address of 
               10.2.2.2 to the list of authorized servers in the directory service.  
Example:       add server dhcpsrv2.example.microsoft.com  
 
               This command adds a server with a DNS name of 
               dhcpsrv2.example.microsoft.com and a default IP address of 
               255.0.0.0 to the list of authorized servers in the directory service.
