If you enable this policy setting and then click "Require Encryption," Microsoft Office Communicator sends and receives audio and video data only if it is encrypted. Microsoft Office Communicator rejects audio and video data that is not encrypted. If you enable this policy setting and click "Don't Support Encryption," Microsoft Office Communicator sends and receives audio and video data only if it is not encrypted. Microsoft Office Communicator rejects encrypted audio and video data. Note: You can configure this policy setting under both Computer Configuration and User Configuration, but the policy setting under Computer Configuration takes precedence.
